A Smoke. A Soul. A Poem.

Classified by: Smoke

Liberal light flashes from the infinite sky
To convey the themes to a dawdling few
I believe a star winked at me and I could sense
The maddening dance of the lost soul anew..

The star flickered again and winked twice
For I could not take the entire message
I winced as I received a secret surprise
Wondering the signs might be good for my passage..

I cleared my eyes and focused on that star
There wasn’t a murmur except the dark night
The star up above lost its path and moved a bit
My eyes couldn’t believe as they put up a fight..

It fluttered again and I blamed it on the clouds
But the night was clear like a river flooded away
I dozed off holding the thought in my head
But wanted to settle as I couldnt keep this midway..

The circle of universe is so far and wide
And the cosmic atoms often play on its playground
They are on the bed without any boundaries
They can choose their route and their own sound..

I chided the clouds for supporting the rhythm
I envied that star for it could trick me
The cosmic thoughts were wrapped in smoke
But we shared a moment that was all peaceful..

I would recollect that night for days
For the star shared a stellar moment
It flickered at me and I gazed back
As the moment got etched on the skies of time..
